Have you ever thought how the passenger planes that connect the world are maintained so that air-travel remains the safest and fastest way to get around this blue dot? I do, it's fascinating.
It's a monumental task that requires so much behind the scenes work that it's kinda of hard to wrap your head around from a visual standpoint.
Thankfully that is where the talented Jasmine Atheron swoops in and get's me a tour of the Delta's TechOps facility early on a hot Wednesday morning. Jasmine is responsible for Deltas social content and does a fantastic job. Have you seen their Instagram?
Delta TechOps is basically the maintenance, repair and overhaul division of Delta (the best airline), and its located right at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
To keep out of the way we visited over lunch so that's why these photos are light on people. TechOps has 51 maintenance stations world wide with over 9,600 Technical staff.
