It was a overcast fall Friday and I was heavily jet-lagged after landing in New York from a short trip to Denmark and the UK. I had arranged to grab breakfast with Jake (Founder of Elepath) at Pies and Thighs in Williamsburg before strolling to Elepath Studio #00003 that is currently in development.
We took a detour toGrand ferry park on the water front and spotted some derelict walk ways. Naturally we made our way to them by going under and over a few fences.
I have no idea what these walk ways for but they seemed to leave to several large concrete pads
What are these photos about?
These wooden walk ways connected the large pads, they were less than secure.
Just to be clear, that ladder led straight into the water and getting my phone out was not the smartest thing I've ever done.Relevant photo: instagram.com/p/gLhQe3AwQp/
Rats, they get everywhere.
We would often find out selfs saying "You could totally hide a body here" in various spots all over the area. Just as we were leaving a police boat came cruising past. Not sure if it was to check us out but pretty exciting regardless.
The 5D III proving its worth yet again.
I'm pretty excited about how great the 3rd studio for Elepath is turning out so far. It has a pretty perfect view of the East River and will eventually have a roof deck.
