On our last full day in Norway we decided to take the shuttle from Flåm to Gudvangen and hop on the Fjrod ferry to cruise around the Nærøyfjord. This trip was basically a 2 hour loop and the ferry returned us returned to Flåm. As per our entire visit to Norway the views were spectacular.
Here is a little more about the Nærøyfjord.
“The Nærøyfjord is perhaps the most spectacular arm of the Sognefjord, and the narrowest fjord in the world, at one point only 250 metres across, with mountains towering more than 1,700 metres above its tranquil waters. The area has been inhabited for about 10,000 years, and farmed for almost 3,000 years. Farming is still important for people living along the fjord today.”

Nærøyfjord was also used as an inspiration for Arendelle in Disney’s Frozen.
See you very soon Norway.
